Free home loan help

Does your job qualify?

Some jobs let you buy with under 20% deposit and skip mortgage insurance, saving thousands. Find your job to see which lenders offer it.

What's mortgage insurance (LMI)?

Deposit under 20%? Most banks charge a one-off fee called lenders mortgage insurance (LMI). It protects the bank, not you, often costs thousands, and is usually added to your loan, so you pay interest on it too.

Some banks waive it for jobs they see as low risk. You could buy with 10% down (sometimes less) and pay no LMI.

Check with a broker
